Roden 1/144 Boeing 720 Starship One

Well apart from TOR (sorry about posting on your thread, by the way... ) looks like I'm the first starter. Doesn't mean I'll be the first finisher, but whatever..

Anyhow, I give you Roden's 1/144 Boeing 720 Starship One, which will be as it was when it flew Led Zeppelin around.
After doing some research on the kit, I found two things that were problematic. The first is the number of windows - there's too many. However, the decal sheet has windows and is designed to fit around them all, so I can't be arsed doing anything about them. The second, however, is a much easier fix. The engines are approximately 25% too big, so I ordered 5 sets of Welsh Models aftermarket engines for my 4 kits and the extra one I'm going to buy at some point.. Oh yeah, there was something about the nose wheels being too big, but that's a big "meh" from me..

Without further ado, I present the one and only photo!!

So far, I've painted the interior black as well as the cockpit top (that from the inside..). I've also measured out 10g of Liquid Gravity - great stuff, by the way....if you don't have any, get some!! Very easy to use.. - and put that in the nose section and the cockpit top. Then I glued it all up. Next comes masking all those bloody windows and priming. Then sanding, sanding, and more sanding.
The plastic has a slight texture to it, so we'll see how that comes up under some primer..

So I've run into a little problem while masking the windows..
I had decided to use masking fluid because they're so small, and pushed one of the windows out of it's place. This, in turn, led to about 4 or 5 of the following suite.
I figure my options are now to fill in all the windows and use decals, which will mean getting a few aftermarket sets, or ignoring the issue and carefully painting the windows after I paint everything else.
If anyone can suggest another fix that doesn't involve major surgery, please do!

Bog the windows and use decals.
It is easier, and looks far more authentic and "scale correct", especially in 1:144.

OK, so I've been hard at work (for me) bogging up the windows, and I've come across a small issues...
I can find generic side windows online, but finding the cockpit and eyebrow windows is proving a touch problematic.
Can anyone suggest an online retailer who carries all the windows??

Bit more progress, no pics but...
Puttied up the windows and sanded them back. Round 2 starts soon...
Also cut out the cockpit top and repositioned it - it was slightly off-centre and really bugged me. So that's got a heap of putty around it too, and need to add a bit more before sanding it back.
Fuselage has been primed, and upper seam sanded. May need some putty....we'll see after re-priming. Bottom seam needs sanding, and I need to fix a small area on the rudder that got a bit of glue on the outside.
And, of course, I busted off the antenna on the lower fuselage. Thankfully I found it, so it's safely in the kit's box until I glue it back on.
