Nothing wrong with thread drift Ross. Some of the most interesting, educational, and creative posts I have ever seen, (and participated in
), on other model sites have been as a result of good old fashion thread drift. I love the twists and turns of a free wheeling, vibrant, enthusiastic, energetic, and un-restricted thread, (sort of like a bunch of mates down the pub talking about anything and everything). For reasons that I don't fully understand, thread drift seems to be discouraged and frowned on by administrators on some model sites, (to the point of scolding the individuals concerned
, thread-locking
, and deletions
......go figure), but I think it makes for great on-going conversation between like-minded folks. That's one of the reasons I started my own site. I have to qualify all this though Ross by saying that I am one of the worst offenders for threads drift that I know
