I really love this airplane, I went to the factory last spring. and I was really impressed with the composite fuselage among other things.

G,day Dylan , great shots mate , the Cathay freighter and Air New Zealand 777 are regular visitors to our neck of the woods . I have refuelled both those aircraft on a number of occasions in MEL . Keep the photos coming !!

The 787 will get all the issues sorted out and then...... It will be the benchmark jet. Always said this.. Always will stand by it.I think people underestimate it.

Knotty, I was a fueller in Winnipeg back in the day. it was one of the most rewarding jobs and the suckiest all at the same time. now I have a cushy engineer job in Vancouver.

Capt NG, I agree completely. once the 787 gets all the bugs worked out it will be the benchmark. I know an AC 767 pilot who is going on the course later this summer, he is stoked.

anyway here is some stuff from the other day.





I really dig these new winglets but I think it is only a matter of time until some goon in a fuel truck rips one off.

Great pictures Dylan... Boeing drivers heaven!!...could sit there all day and watch them.

Dylan, I think the advantage the 787 will have is its flexibility. Be good to hear how your AC mate finds the transition.
