Yep, great show and well done to all for the success of the new category.

The important thing will be to follow it up next year and make sure the category is well supported.

Thanks to all of you that said many nice things about my Comet. Now get building you guys!

Eric.

Agreed Capt Eric. The Model Expo Committee has said that any new category is closely monitored for three years. So to ensure long-term viability of our new category we gotta make sure we keep up the momentum and commitment.
So start building for next year. Ohhh and let's not forget the Airliner category......it was a bit down on numbers this year.

Thanks for a great weekend everybody and thanks for Lunch, Ray.

I'll be sure to see if I can get this Jap Zero Air Racer WIF in for next year.

It was indeed a great show, and it was fantastic to catch with some old faces, and meet some new ones. A special thanks to Ray for the lunch, and to everyone else I exchanged pleasantries with. One of the hallmarks of Model Expo has always been the great camaraderie on offer, and this year was no different. I spent a lot less money than I normally do, which is a minor miracle. Happy to come away with a Commended for my Do 335 too. Hoping to get at least one civil entry in next year.

Until then!
