Show us what you just bought...

As the title goes, post pictures of your last model related purchase.

I'll start. I was out today running some errands for the folks and happen to walk past a local Toyworld that was moving with big 50% off signs. I found these two kits in the model section, priced at 83 dollars, down to 65 and then 50% off that....I couldn't really go past them.

Good thread Brad!!!l
OK then....my latest additions to the stash are:
Firstly, the simply superb 1:32 Fisher "Red Baron" Racing Mustang. This very limited edition production run was arranged by our own Adam Akrodude, (and Adam thanks so much for doing this for all of us mate!!). I am SOOOO pleased I have got one of these in the stash...the photos don't do this beautifully-cast resin kit justice, I hope I can.

This next little gem is the Contrails 1:72 DC-7 Clay Lacy Air Racer conversion for the Heller DC-6 kit.
This lovely resin conversion kit builds into the ultimate kick-arse Air Racer, (a racing DC-7  ...only in America :D ), that Clay Lacy ran in the Mojave Endurance Air Race in the 1970s.

Cost of these two latest purchases...just over $400.00. The joy of owning/building models of some of the most kick-arse, awesome Air Racers of all time....priceless!!!! :D

PS: This just turned up in the mail while I was typing above:

Argh an Aztec  The biggest POS EVER to have taken flight  I hate these things with a passion. Spending 8 hours under the dash trying to stop the UC handle from doing big circles whenever you touched it will do that to you  This is what should be done to ALL Aztecs though a lot DEEPER

Might do a diorama of it with your legs sticking out the cockpit door and a talky balloon full of swear-words
