Being crook is an fair enough excuse for not turning up. And your absence was noticed.
I don't know about any photos, I took some but the photographer of the group is Wayne and he forgot to bring his camera. I wonder whether it was his subconscious at work or ...
Having noticed your absence, Ray, I took a couple of photos just for you as we were packing up. All the little French tanks had gone by this stage but here you see eleven BAC lightnings - from the back a very early F.1, then a 56 Squadron F.1A, then eight F.3s in the markings of most of the units that flew them, and finally a Saudi T.55. From the back, as if you need my help, a Pan Am -100, a Qantas -200, an Australia-Asia SP, an Ansett -300, a Qantas -400 and a KLM -400F.
And here, just for you Ray, are all eight 747s. They sure do take up a lot of space.
Did I have a good day? I guess so. As usual I intended to sit and put together some plastic to show the visitors what is involved in making a model but after six hours I had managed to liberate and glue together four pieces. And I'm feeling rather hoarse after talking so much for so long.
