Paul's photo of the TAA Mallard has now put the possible contenders for my next model onto the backburner and the above image is the result of a couple hours work. The Execuform kit is very basic, no panel lines, control surfaces, transparencies. Also missing from the kit are engines, undercarriage, propellers, etc. This may not be typical of the kit as it was given to me. From the lack of details and sharpness of edges such as the chines, it would appear that the vacforming was done using male patterns. The floats don't even have the appropriate steps. However, these deficiencies make for more interesting modelling. Maybe this post should have been in "work in progress" but this seemed to be a more relevant section. :?:

OMFG Fred I'll definitely be watching this mate. I'll use it as a guide for my own when I get it :)
