DH88 Comet's return from the graveyard

This Airfix Comet was built strictly out of the box (and poorly by today's standards) some 55 years ago and has spent at least the last 40 years in my models' graveyard. As an interlude from the current project, a pair of Frogfix Comets, I decided to restore this one, again, to oob standard, no extra work except improve the basic construction. The missing items were easily replaced from the left over bits from the Airfix Comets used in the above project. The Airfix kit appears to be based on Aeromodeller Plan Service drawing A207, circa 1946. This drawing and a similar one published in a 1934 edition of Flight Magazine both lack the details missing from the Airfix (and Frog) model. A later set of drawings dated September,1972, Is much more detailed but surprisingly, the outline shape of Airfix Comet is a reasonable match.
