Just collected the last month's worth of magazines from the local newsagent and I see that the December 2014 issue (Issue 49) of Airfix Model World has a lead article on the build of the recently re-released Airfix Boeing 737 'Classic'. Mike Grant (who needs no introduction to most modellers) builds it as an early -200 Series aircraft using a pair of Bra.Z engines/pylons. The article also shows how to deal with plugging all those cabin windows using a large styrene plug, creating your own styrene-based filler, along with creating painting masks and creating a nice rendition of an airport taxiway.
A short article on the early 737 variants is also included.
