Some of my vids

Postby Tony P » Mon Apr 21, 2014 10:36 am

Some of my vids. Not the best as I'm still trying to figure out my new camera!

One of the first things I caught on it was an A380 throwing away a bit of it's nose wheel tread. Salty & NG were very interested. Hard to catch but watch the top of the wing around the 50sec mark. Looks like a bird.

Then some in's and outs from Tullamarine

Some highlights from Point Cook. Haven't had a chance to go through all the footage yet.

And some nice vapour:

Thanks

You got most of the interesting stuff from Point Cook. Hearing the sentimental rubbish talked about that bloody boxkite, ugh. I was pretty bored with the airshow until the jets turned up, although I still wanted to see an F-18 break the sound barrier over sanctuary swamps. The C-17 was also rather impressive.

Agreed....a big Boeing, (but really McDonnell Douglas), at it's best.

The 380 video was submitted to QF A380 fleet management who handed it to QF engineering. They were grateful for the footage as it showed the problem from a different perspective.
Well done Mr.Spielberg.
