Here is my most recent F-Rsin kit, the newly released Nord 260. It is not my best effort, the result of rushing the project more than I should have. Still, it's not a cheap kit and it's an obscure little airliner so I'm not likely to have a second go at it. It will have to do.

I like that, quite an obscure little thing, did a few of those operate in Australia for a while I have a dim recollection

Not that particular version, which was a square unpressurised fuselage, bit like a Shorts 360, but a later round fuselage pressurised variant, called the Nord 262, which was again modified by the americans to have PT6 engines and model number changed to 298 and called a Mowhawk.
There were 4 operated here in Qld by Lloyds, later Queensland Pacific and others

and I know all this because I once built this kit, back in the Jurassic period

Seriously Leigh, you're going to have to set up a museum up your way!

I think I may have to contact the French Embassy, as I think you deserve the "Legion of Honour" for building all these Frenchie aeroplanes!

Bravo!

Pretty good looking Nord 260 you have made here ;)

Interestingly, I just finished a book, in French, called "Le Cap et la Montre", from Herve Brun, and Armand Jacquet. Armand was a test pilot with a very career, and with some outstanding aircrafts he worked on it like the Concorde, the "crazy" Griffon II, The first Airbus, but also this Nord 260, then the more successfull Nord 262.

Do you have another model of this brand in mind for the next built?
