I know that once I get going on molding stuff it would become routine. I could do it decades ago but seem to have lost the knack more recently. I'm thinking about 3D printing as an alternative but haven't had much or a need so far. I will talk to Peter about the BAT decals. Thanks for the tip.

Right! now after a near coronary and alternating between hyperventilating and holding my breath, with a fair amount of cursing we have reached this stage. I have to print another escape hatch decal, make some minor adjustments to the cheat line decals (using white painted decal paper) repair some glue marked silver paint work on a gear door, look at any aerials that need mounting. A final clean and an overcoat with satin gloss, but I am having a break for the rest of today, admire it and recharge the cojones.. I am feeling quite drained!

Following on from this truly wonderful BAT Ambassador in 1/72 I asked Mr Hawkeye if the decals would be available in 1/144 and he sent me a set. Here is progress to date using the Welsh Models kit. It was a lot less difficult to put together, than the epic battle in 1/72, comprising five parts before you get to the undercarriage and propellers. The only work I had to do to improve the kit was to open up the intake under the engines.
