Take off airliner masks

Postby Tony P » Mon Apr 21, 2014 11:03 am

Hi All,

You maybe wondering why TOAM? It is short for Take Off Airliner Masks. A small little company I am trying to get going. I've always wanted to have clear windows on my models but masking was a pain. Especially if I wanted to do the passenger windows. Trying to cut little squares of tape was time consuming and I could never get them accurate. I was always hoping that Eduard or similar would come to the party for us Airliner guys but no joy. So decided to go out on my own and produce my own laser cut masks.
At the moment we are aiming at the Zvezda and Revell kits that have passenger windows as well as clear parts for the cockpit. At the moment we have the following available:
WINDOW MASKS
1/72
Dornier Do-228 Revell $10
1/144
Boeing 737 DACO (Cockpit only) $5
Boeing 747-8 Revell $10
Boeing 747-8 Zvezda $10
Boeing 767 Zvezda $10
Boeing 787 Zvezda/Revell $10
Ilyushin Il-76 Trumpeter $10
Tupolev Tu-134 Zvezda $10
Tupolev Tu-154M Zvezda $10
A320 Revell (Cockpit only) $5
A340/330 Revell (Cockpit only) $5
Boeing 720 Roden $10

*all sets come with passenger windows masks unless noted

And as I do a lot of Revells 737s, the annoying thing was masking the leading edges, especially near the fuselage. So I made one for that as well!

ANTI-ICE LEADING EDGE MASKS 1/144
Boeing 737-800 Revell $12

Postage within Australia is free for A/CAM members and I'll also offer a 10% discount on top.

I'll try to post some pictures up later.

Thanks to ray for allowing me to post. Appreciated.

Tony

G'day Tony,
I have just "inherited" a Revell 1:72 Do 228-100 and, as part of it's refurbishment, I would like to try your unique product.
That being the case can I order two (2) of your 1:72 Do 228 mask sets, (I always like to have a "back-up" :D ).
Thanks mate.
TOR
PS: not having used masks before, do they come with instructions??

G'day Ray

I have one set left (might have two but I'm going to check when I get home) and you are in luck as I am having a 50% off sale at the moment. I'm actually winding down the business. So if anyone wants anything from the list let me know. Numbers are limited to what I have in stock. So once they are gone there will be no more.

No instructions but they are pretty easy to know what goes where for the Do 228!

Thanks

Tony
