Hi All,

I thought I might actually post something that I am working on at the moment.

I am hoping thus will be ready for expo this yr. here is some progress shots.

Decals I will be using are from F dcal, they look great, just some errors with regards to Jetstar being Star Alliance & Skyteam members. and the VH-DRM rego.

Here is where they're at now. ready to have some of the panel lines re scribed then ready for primer and topcoat.

wings and hori stabs/elevators are not glued in as yet, still have a bit of work ( ALOT ) to do to the body hence the pencil marks. with the official A/CAM approved decal. :)

And Finally how she will end up being displayed as

G'day Brendon,
Thanks for joining the A/CAM membership mate, I'm really pleased to have you as part of our group.
That is some pretty impressive progress on the 787 so far bud.
The one thing I love about the 787 is that the model kit is made out of the same stuff as the real jet :D
It was good briefly catching up at the PC Air show a few weeks ago mate.
That's a bloody nice sticker you got on display in the background there :D I will be giving out a few more of these at Model Expo.
Regards
Ray

Thanks Guys.
It really is a sexy looking Airliner.
Ray, I reckon It's going to have about as much putty in it as the 1:1 scale one as well.

Very nice work so far.

Just wish the 1:1 models came in a red & white colour scheme.

Looking good so far Brendon . Nothing wrong with the decals Brendon , as they were for the proposed scheme at the time the aircraft was ordered . Should look great when finished.

Nice work Brendon... Great jet.. Can't wait to see your model done..attracted allot of bad press but I still think it will be the benchmark when it's all sorted...

Salty / Ray... Few weeks ago I was at the holding point rwy34 in Melbourne.. Jetstar 787 was in front of mainline 767.. I can only imagine what the mainline guys were saying.. Probably can't write it here!!
It's hard for me to get used to these changing times... I remember when the air was clean and the sex was dirty..

Scored these a few months back. Good luck in getting them as it is like a lottery! It took 7 mths of trying to get these. From our old mate Gio or raffa chris or Brazil decals etc.

Thanks salty and CaptNg. Tony, I had thought about using the guy from ARC, but with the hassle of having to wait months for it, I can live with the DRM rego.

I had intended to use a tamiya spray bomb for the wings/ engines and the horizontal stabs. Which failed miserably today. So I have stripped it and will decant the paint into a bottle to airbrush it on
