Here's a few photos of a rag-tag collection that I either don't have many photos of, or don't much care for! This first one is in the former category:

Revell 1/144 CL-604 Challenger, Cirrus Aviation

Cool little kit, and my first attempt at this kind of base.



Entex 1/144 Tu-144

Allegedly not actually 1/144 scale, but I can't remember what the actual scale is alleged to be. Horrible kit, but you could do something impressive with it given enough time, motivation and patience. Some Photoshop silliness in the second photo.





Master Modell 1/100 Yak-40

Another horrible kit that I'm not fond of, but I present it here for posterity.





My buddy Eric gave me both these last two kits, and after building them, I know why!

Glencoe Martin M-130 "China Clipper"

Another one from Eric! I decided to attempt some sort of water base, but it was a bit of a flop. Oh well. Scale on the box was 1/144, but it's actually box scale, at around 1/132.





Right, I think that's it!

Thanks Paul. The Challenger is the only model I actually like, but I don't really have any other worthwhile photos of it.

Some lovely work there Kev, with some most unusual subject matter.
The Challenger is particularly nice and it is very cool what you have done with photoshopping the TU-144.

I'm a great fan of those inter-war flying boats so I really liked the Martin. Is that the Glenco kit, I have one waiting to be done one of these days.

Thanks Leigh. It is indeed the Glencoe kit. Back in the day I'm sure it was a serviceable collection of plastic, but my boxing was plagued by huge sink marks, poorly-fitting parts, and what turned out to be decals that weren't that great. I'd love to see a decent kit of this in 1/144 - is 1/72 too much to hope for?

Lucky you! Anigrand do a Martin China Clipper in 1/72, if you're willing to spend $165 or thereabouts on it. I don't know how good it is but I've done battle with some Anigrand kits and they weren't exactly a picnic.
