Having the rego on top of the left wing would be good and true to the retro look. but qantas is trying to save money.
But now the real test is how long until us modeller will be able to get these retro decals.

Geez, the paint is not even dry on the jet yet!!! :shock: ...they must have been on stand-by and up all night.
As much as the 26 Decals sheet looks good, they are not actually licensed by Qantas to do it, (nor any other Qantas Group liveries for that matter). Hawkeye however is, besides, Scotty and Peter tend to be more thorough with their research, so I might wait for the Hawkeye "official licensed product" sheet I think .

The 26 sheet is missing the bow tie!

Only just catching up, so didn't see the original artwork, but I see the 26 Decal now has the bow tie as well, very quick work.

Yeah I had to tell him to fix his up too!
Apparently one of the bow ties have fallen off during a flight.
