That's pretty outrageous of that seller! Is that the Hobbycrap kit re-boxed?

Either a rebox or a copy, I'm not sure. I have a couple and they're not the greatest but they'll still build up ok :)

I am getting nervous!!!!!
Just over a day to go and I am still the highest bidder on the Aerotech 1:32 DH-88 :?
I want it but what was I thinking bidding that much on it!!!
I am suffering "buyers remorse" already and I haven't even won it yet....still, having the extremely desirable and rare kit in my stash would help ease the pain.

I have long since realised that the only thing that is not "rare" on eBay is the use of the word rare

Well looking at the cockpit canopy, I would say it would be easier to scratchbuild than get any sort of result from that kit.

I remember about 2 years ago getting outbid on a book I was after, called The Searchers which was about Grp Capt Keith Rundle, who I knew personally, and was mate of his son Kent.
His post war career was about locating and returning the remains of lost airmen.

I got outbid at the last second at about $75, 2 days later a mate found me the book from an online 2nd hand bookseller for $11
