Hi Ray,

Sorry for no progress reports lately guys.

I've been pushing the boundaries with exercising and trying to get the old legs up to speed. Sorry for not posting something but I look in every day to see how the gangs going.

I must be making some progress as I've been pulling kits out of the stash and contemplating having a bash. I've regained most of the fine motor functions with my right hand and arm which feels great.
The guys at the club have told me to bash a cheap kit into some semblance of what appears on the box top.

Cheers

Good to hear from ya young fella!!!
I am pleased to hear you are making progress in your physical recovery, and it is also a very encouraging sign that you are thinking about modelling again.......living proof that you can't keep a good modeller down :D
Keep up the good work sir.

Just got back from a day of torture with a few physios and my Doc, all of them are extremely pleased with my progress and reckon I'm way ahead of their expectations. :D

It was a tiring day but made all the better by Mr. HLJ placing a lovely 1/32 Piper Cub complete with Tundra tyres in our P.O.Box along with Tamiya's 1/32 Corsair I bought for a mate
who has been an absolute tower of strength to both of us here over the last trying month as nothing has been to much for him to help out, I knew he liked the kit so I got it as a surprise for all his help.

Maybe I should start on the Cub as helping my therapy, even the Doc and the physios told me to start modelling again as part of my therapy.

Cheers

OK then young fella....well that settles it, doctor's orders, for medicinal and therapeutic purposes it's time for you to start that 1:32 Cub on tundra wheels, (and don't they look so cool on the "tyres on steroids").
It sounds like you are making a remarkable recovery Wayne....keep up the good progress.

We're thinking about fitting tundra tyres to the Foxbat...might have to modify the strut, though...

Cap'n, I think that Foxbat would look uber cool with a set of them Tundra tyres on it.

Paul, maybe with a few alterations it would make an unusual ATV trike. a 5 litre Commodore transplant might give it some added oomph. :D
