Good news!!

Wayne is being discharged from the QE centre tomorrow, so he OK to come home. Sorry that I have not kept you up to date with his progress but I have been very ill with a particularly nasty virus,

and have been at home since last Sunday. Did not want to spread it around at the rehab centre, though quite a few already had it.

He tells me that he is walking with crutches & can use his cane as well, though he gets very tired quickly, as can be expected with a brain injury.

I am sure he will be posting here as soon as he can, it will be good to have him home & in his own comfortable bed. With home cooked meals.

Good to hear the young fella is on the mend and ready for discharge.....but not good to hear hat you have been crook.

Thanks once again to all those members who wished me well over the past few weeks, very much appreciated by both of us here.
I've finally escaped from the clutches of the numerous medical professions for now anyway.

I'm finally able to sleep in my own bed, what a feeling after the hospital torture bunks. Alas I'm unable to do much in the way of modelling as I don't feel like presenting myself at casualty for a multitude of injuries.
I've tried Ray, but having a very loose hold on a wildly swinging scalpel at present has had me re-thinking that maybe a few days rest may be a better proposition.
Knotty, the Old Bugger is flat out looking after himself, let alone trying to look after my better half as well.
I can walk in a sort of fashion, as long as I've got something to hold me up.
