I went up to the hospital to see Wayne on my way to the MoB meeting this evening. He looks well and sounds well too. The main threat Wayne is facing at the moment is death by boredom. When there is a spare bed he will apparently be moved to the Queen Elizabeth Centre for rehabilitation. This may take some time. Here's a photo of Wayne as of about 1900 this evening.

He is showing signs of improvement today, he can now use his right hand more than he could on Friday, so that is a good sign.

The leg is showing slight movement, such as twitches in the feet etc..

Wayne & I really appreciate the trouble you are all going to visiting and phoning him, it is vital that he does not get depressed.

Thanks to all the MoB members that came up on Saturday afternoon.

Cheers Yvette

Hi all,

I spent all day in Ballarat hospital with Wayne yesterday and he is in good spirits, cheeky as ever.

He does not have a computer or tablet with him, therefore no internet access, anyway it would probably get flogged in 5 minutes.

He is very humbled by those of you that care about his health and well being and wished me to thank you all for you visits and calls.

I am sure when he is well enough to come home, he will thank you all himself, I am really hoping that will be soon.

The biggest obstacle to that is that he is unable to walk or stand unassisted, hope this will change as soon as he gets some intensive rehab/physio.

If not then we will have to have the old farmhouse modified to make his life easier, but we will face that when we have to.

Cheers Guys, I will keep you up to date with any developments.

Hi Yvette

I've not had the opportunity to meet Wayne yet. As a fellow A/CAMer, I wish Wayne a speedy recovery and returns back to modelling ASAP!

All the best to you all.

Just a quick update
Wayne has been moved to the rehabilitation hospital, tomorrow is the big day, when they start him on walking exercises, he has done a couple of small ones so far, now they are going to get serious.

He sends his regards to everyone
