RAAF 75 Squadron F/A-18A Hornet A21-29
Wing Commander Ross J "Foxy" Fox's F/A-18A Hornet featuring the top hat and cane on the the tail as seen in 1990, shortly before his death in a training accident. Fox was flying another Hornet at the time and as fate would have it, the plane he had a mid air collision in was this one, flown by another pilot.

Things to improve on in the future;
-I still need to work on my seams and filling gaps. Whilst Im getting better at it, there is still a lot of room for improvement.
-Painting and decal placement. Though I tried to use as many references as I could find, I still missed some paint scheme details like the area for the serial number and the Top hat and cane decal should be higher and on a bit more of an angle. I need to pay more attention to photo references, instead of the decal placement sheets. I know better.
Thanks to everyone who provided input and feed back, especially A2 who donated a great set of drop tanks.
While the kit is a fun build and has everything you need to do a basic hornet, it is lacking in some detail in the way of panel lines and access doors. The intakes are very shallow and go no where in a very short distance, which shows up as soon as you paint them white.
For the price I paid for the kit however, it was a bargain and looks great on the shelf.
