A place for our military aviation modellers to show their stuff. It may not be civil but it still has a home here

Apart from painting the nav and ID lights, it's done. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. I screwed up the primer experimenting and filling wing panel lines so the paint job isn't as good as it should be. I haven't weathered it as A) I still haven't mastered weathering NMF planes and B) I was too lazy. Apart from seat belts, plastic packaging for the gun sight and battery and radio wiring behind the seat it's OOB. The only thing I broke on it was the antenna cutting it off the sprue. Just a little more care required. IMHO it's almost as good as the Tamiya kit but with better options. The only thing I don't like wash the canopy is separate from the frame that makes for an almost impossible seam to remove. I love this kit and have a couple more in the stash. I'd love for Airfix to scale this up to 1/48 but I won't hold my breath. Anyways to the pics :)
