Airfix B727 - Decal options

Airfix B727 - Decal options

Postby RayS » Thu Jul 31, 2014 10:07 pm

I have not finished a model in a while so I am determined to get something off the bench.

The 727 is getting close to another paint colour. I am in a quandary about which scheme to do it in.

Options are:
Australian Airlines
Ansett
East West
TAA, or
Hunting Cargo Airlines

Suggestions to sway me in one direction????

I have a soft spot for East West.

My vote would be for Australian Airlines. A colour scheme that would not look out-of-place even now.

Voting for Ansett. Ol' Reg have my old school a bus and used to drive up in his caddy to watch the football on the odd weekend - more often when he was given the flick from his airline.

I think it goes to show you just need to build more 727's, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the concept of doing all those schemes, why else did you buy those decal sheets?
So your choice now is which one to do first
