OK Folks!!!
We finally have A/CAM Gallery full functionality.....so it's now time for you to show the world your modelling master pieces.
To have your model/models featured in the A/CAM gallery simply click on "Galleries" tab on the Site front page, (and you can get there simply by clicking on the A/CAM logo above). Decide which Gallery your model should be in, (I think I have catered for most "tastes" on this site), then email your images to me at monaroray@yahoo.com.au
Can you please supply with your images the following information about your models:
- kit manufacturer
- scale
- operator
- aircraft-type and name
You will see that Andrew has got the ball rolling in the "Galleries" with some of his superb model work, (and thanks for your contributions Andrew, much appreciated mate ), so I am sure if you experience any difficulties or need any advice/guidance where Gallery contributions are concerned, he will be able to assist.
Looking forward to being inundated with you gallery contributions guys....this will only serve to make our site even more interesting and value-added :D .

No mate....I am not fussed on the size, just as long as it is not ridiculously-big.
I will have a crack at loading anything I receive from you blokes.

Thanks to Graeme Harris for his contributions to the "Galleries". His beautiful DC-9 and 767-200 are now up for everyone's viewing pleasure.

Thanks to both Adam and Ray. S for some very "kick arse" model contributions to our Galleries.
Well-done boys, you have really bolstered the gallery numbers with some excellent model work :D
For those still wishing to make a contribution to the Galleries, It has become apparent that our system will not upload anything larger the Kb size images....once you go into Mb she just says NO!!

There should be no reason anyone submits a 1MB+ sized image. Keep in mind that just because an image file size is 3MB, doesn't mean it will reproduce any better on the screen/paper than an image of 500KB for the purposes that the website will need ie; standard image sizes for websites.

Ray,

Brad is right, a pixel size of 1024x768 is probably big enough and will give an image size in hundreds of Kb. Plenty big enough

Just wondering what the 'Former Military Types' gallery will contain?

Things like Tracor Flight Systems F-4s and A-4s, NASA and Boeing-owned T-38s, Boeing-owned F-86s, Privately-owned F-104s...etc etc.

Sometimes though it will be a fine line as to which Gallery a given model should go into, eg: ex-military P-51 or T-6 air racers, ex-military P-2, C-130, or P-3 fire bombers, an ex-civil 707 tanker, a WIF military Biz-jet, a Catalina or Liberator in airline service, (get the picture :D )....but I will attempt to make the best and most relevant call I can, given the individual model that is presented for inclusion in the galleries.

Thanks again to Adam for his additional "Galleries" contributions.....geez that bloke builds a good model!!! :D .
Guys.....as I learn more about using the "Galleries" application of this site, it looks as if the max size for hassle-free image up-load is between 400-500 Kbs.
The only worry I have is that the Military Gallery seems to be growing at a faster rate than any other.....WTF!!! have we all forgotten what A/CAM actually stands for??? , but seriously lads, keep the "good stuff" coming.
