After a day on the bus from Portsmouth to leeds yesterday,we had a quiet day today wandering around the leeds shopping district,a nice way to spend a day.
I hope to get to elvington on Friday......somfar no joy from the whirlwind group but you never know.

Just got back ftrom a day trip to Elvinton Yorkshire air museum........a great place indeed,amongst other aircraft they have a stunning full scale replica of a Halifax bomber!!

Pretty easy forme TOAM.......two days of pistons out does jets every time!!!!!!!!!!!!.
And with no vulcan this year it was even easier .

We've arrived in whittlesford......to be wecomed by the sound of round........the second time I heard it I got a glimpse of a very shiny B25 on it's wing tip........looks like tomorrow will be great!!!!!!!!!!!

That's pretty poor that no one in the project is contactable, aren't you a member? I had a look at the website for the project but there are no pictures of the thing. He's only given himself another 352 days 'to completion' so if he hasn't actually started yet I'd suggest they get cracking.
