Believe it or not I do have a plan for each and every one of these models.....and I will finish them all :D
I get much enjoyment and satisfaction out of refurbishing these, in some cases, decades old beat-up and battered childhood kits.
The beautiful thing is that, nowadays with many quality after-market parts and decals available, it is possible to bring these dear old things back to life.
@ Brad...please don't throw out your unwanted kits mate, as they will always be of use to someone.

Somewhere in the Great Beyond, Willy Messerschmitt is scratching his head thinking:"Now why didn't I think of that?"
It looks heaps better and would give a much better TAS with the reduced drag. Not so much for ram effect, though.

Ahhhhh.....the innocent eyes, logic, and actions of a 7 year old modeller :D
She is actually now slatted to be a racer, (the decals alone probably cost about four or five times more than what the original kit did....but that's not the point).

Now seeing that lot makes me feel sooooooooooo much better 8-) 8-) 8-) So much so that when I get home I'm gonna show my GF these pics and then she'll understand I definitely don't have a problem. As they say there's always someone else worse off than you. Though in your case Ray, I doubt that very much

Only a singlle kit on the go right now - 1:48 Tornado. Using the Italeri kit, with Hobby Boss decals. Both kits have issues (lots of them) and of course now started, I see Revell are releasing a brand new, much better kit.....

Hi Leigh,
I have just checked out the Welsh site, (go to our "Links" page for quick access), and they are selling the 707 fuselage only for far less than 36 Pounds.

PS: I must say that the Welsh 707-300 fuselage is just so much better than the Minicraft kit, (what the hell were Minicraft thinking producing a 707 front end like that  )
