I've got the kit, just have to work out how to do the decals and I'm working on that. The actual aeroplane lives in Canada.

The power of the internet! Found the guy who did the graphics for the Yak-52 in Canada for RE 4! He's going to send me the graphics to print decals - COOL! :D

It will look something like this - but dirty like in the movie.

If that doesn't work for you, how about the Porter from James Bond's Golden Eye? I used to have a model of Air Force One but I have no idea where it has crashed. I'll have to think about a subject.

Nice idea Andrew. Would be an easy one to paint.

Anyone know if there is/are drawings, or a profile or even a decal sheet for the Boomerang used in the film called Smithy I think it used VH-USU codes, but that's just my memory from 40 years ago.
Did a bit of an internet search, but can't find much

Actually Graeme......I am sure I have something on that aircraft somewhere. Leave it with me and I will have a look.

Hello Graeme,
Not a good model but it gives an idea of the colour scheme. The blue does not match that of the original Altair but I have been told (second hand) that the pilot who flew the Boomerang in the film described it as powder blue. There is a film clip of some of the flying sequences, probably accessible through a Google search.
