I am slowly sorting out the wing root gap, it has been primed and reworked.

The engines are primed as well now. There will be a bunch of masking when the wings and engines are painted because of the bare metal finish.

I had been distracted with a few Lockheed builds so this one was pushed to the back of the queue. I was not looking forward tot eh masking required to start wrapping this one up. But this arvo so I turned my attention to the 707, after a marathon masking and spraying effort it was was starting to look OK

Now where did I put those engines?

That is really looking good Ray.
It has inspired me to grab mine off the "curtain rail of doom :? " and crack on with it.
This issue I'm having though.....is what to do about those big gaps inside the engine intakes.

Previously I have filled the gap with card when assembling them, I forgot this time and filled them after the fact with superglue and putty and a lot of painful sanding. They are now 100% but are OK.

Not much more done, I found the engines and am starting to apply paint.

Some of the other builds approaching decaling like the 707
