my latest finished model
Tamiya ME262 A-2a the real plane is the only surviving fighter/bomber version of the ME262 and currently in store with the AWM in Canberra.
the model is painted as it was handed over to the RAF in March 1945.

the Tamiya kit is a joy to build and the decals were bought from eaglecals and were brilliant to used ........it's been a great build.

I think she's back on display and you used the correct nose; unusually for a fighter bomber she retained all 4 cannons. I really wish the AWM would put the bomb racks back on her though. When I was there, the bloke doing the tour said the airframe is out of alignment several inches from nose to tail and they are sure it saw action as a 303 bullet was found lodged in the aircraft with the hole patched over.

she wasn't last year as there is a lot of building work going on at the moment........she almost certainly saw action not just the lodged bullet but also the the shell chutes show signs of having shell cases repeatedly moving through them as well.

thanks i did quite a bit research on her.
