A couple of C-130s (C-130A Firebomber and HC-130N)

Well I was going to get a move on with the C-130A firebomber but I have now misplaced the windscreen. I hope it turns up soon.

So I have been progressing the HC-130N instead, painting is all but finished and it is time for some decals. I did find enough info on the ramp guides and added them along with some flare chutes. I decided to paint the wing walk way a darker shade. Some of these aircraft had them this way.


I also did the sections behind the engines as most hi vis C-130s had them painted this way as well.


I was dreading doing the black strips around the fuselage bands (which was preventing me moving forward with this one) and thought about painting them. I found another build on line where they were done it with decals, fortunately I had some decal strips in the stash and used them and they worked out OK.
