Casa C 295

A place for our military aviation modellers to show their stuff. It may not be civil but it still has a home here

Nice job, I thought I used a lot of putty! :-)

I think I need to get myself a 3D printer, they look to be very hand for creating new parts

Well this one really needs a lot of putty. The fuselage got a bit deformed so I needed it to bring it back to round profile. 3D printer is very handy. It almost feels like cheating. I just need to learn how to draw more complex shapes.
Cheers!

Hi guys! Got this one to the paintng stage. Wing to body join required a lot of work to get "right". Now the real fun begins. Painting this special scheme. First I painted the regulan camo then pelican nose.

The nose was painted with airbrush and paintbrush. The rest will be combination of decals and brushpainting.

Thanks for looking in!

Thanks Ray!
I drew and printed some decals on white decal paper. Designs were cut out as close as possible and applied. I then painted over all remaining areas that shouldn' be white. It's not perfect, but very close.
