Greenock Aviation Museum - SA

Postby RayS » Mon Aug 01, 2022 10:47 pm

I stumbled on this place a few years ago on a visit to the Barossa Valley in South Oz.

I wasn't able to visit then but had a chance a couple of weeks ago.

It consists of a small collection of military aircraft, all gathered together by one chap. There is also a HUGE collection of models, again military, and claims to be the largest display of 1/72 models in the southern hemisphere (over 1400). There are also larger scales on display as well.

Here are some pictures

That Lincoln turret is interesting, I know a museum that might be very interested in making an offer if it was available.
