Zvezda 1/144 A320

A place for sponsors and other manufacturers to advise A/CAMers of the "good stuff" to come

Zvezda 1/144 A320

Postby scotty100368 » Sun Jun 08, 2014 10:11 pm

Just released. Piccies here: http://www.airlinercafe.com/forums.php?m=posts&p=53591#53591

Not that we exactly needed another A320 kit, however it differs from the Revell significantly.
- separate slats, flaps and rudder
- optional open L1 door with front galley and flightdeck
- Heller style clear windshield crown and pax window panes
- both engine types on the one sprue
- separate flap-track fairings (no need to remove excess triple-slot fairings!)

Probably be around the $30 mark, I think...

Scott.

The separate slats & flaps is gold.
Really gives an alive & bespoke look to an airliner.

Saw the sprues for this at Expo on the weekend. You get two sets of gear legs in the kit. One loaded and one unloaded so you can display it in flight if you wish. That's a good idea too. I forgot to look at the interior but I wonder if this will fit?

Ray, there was talk it may not be 1/144 but I can confirm it is 1/144. Zvezda did re-box the Heller kit in 1/125 in the past and this is maybe what caused the confusion. This new kit is a brand new tool.

Cheers
Tony

Cheeky buggers using the same product number and same boxart. Would could go wrong? Thanks for the heads up Scotty.
