As I mentioned on AMI, I'm happy to contribute financially to the 'Save AMI' fund in the form of a subscription but I can't look after it.

As mentioned elsewhere, I did reach out to Dave with an offer to save AMI, but he didn't respond.
It was feasible to bring AMI over here as a wholly-owned A/CAM subsidiary Site, but still operate it as its own separate entity. To the AMI Site membership and sponsors, there would have been no difference, and AMI would have been operating "business as usual", (except I would have been paying the bills as the new owner). Anyway, I guess that ship has sailed.
