Sword 1/72 BAe 125-800 / USAF C-29A

Hi folks!

Following on from their earlier JASDF U-125A offering, Sword have released the more standard airframe variant as a USAF C-29A.

There is a entirely new fuselage sprue - which is suitable for any civil-based variant.

https://swordmodel.cz/en/home/165-sw72141-c-29a-bae-125-800.html

It should retail for around the $35 - $40 mark.

Cheers!

Hi All,

I have already placed an order with Hannants for 2 x BAe-125-800. $33.25 AUD each with the 10% discount. but I'm sure evil bay seller's will be selling it soon.

Hi Paul,

I bought a A&A model king air 200 on the 27/9 and posted on 29/9 and it at my home before the 12/10.

paid + P & P £11.25 = about $20.75 AUD (Airmail: STANDARD-NOT TRACKED-NOT SIGNED FOR. Please DO NOT SELECT if using Paypal)

But if I'm able to find a kit and post cheaper on evil bay than at Hannants. but shipping might be longer.

Makes you wonder how much the ex Matchbox kit would retail for if Revell rereleased it. Probably more given some of the Revell pricing (and - lack of - availability) these days.

Hi All,

I just received my two BAe-125-800 and they are a good looking kit. just need to obtain the dimension of the winglet for a BAe-125-850 so i can make the ex RFDS western Ops VH-RIO.

The only killer of obtaining the model kit is the postage from UK. Hannants price for the kit was around $26.00 with a 10% discount when i obtain it, But now $27.88 compare to evil bay $32.00 to $88.00. I'm not pushing Hannants, i have found they are a lot easier.

everyone has their own opinion.
