Eastern Express 1/144 Embraer E190-E2

A place for sponsors and other manufacturers to advise A/CAMers of the "good stuff" to come

Eastern Express 1/144 Embraer E190-E2

Postby scotty100368 » Thu Jul 22, 2021 10:07 pm

I posted news of this with relevant links (not images) on another forum and the Snoots promptly deleted it.
(It seems sharing info across different forums for the greater hobby audience just isn't cricket!)

So, I am posting re-saved images here purely FYI...

The only local airframe is Air Kiribati (pronounced Kiribass) VH-IKJ owned by Pionair that comes into BNE and sometimes SYD:

Nice, (and it won't be deleted from THIS forum).
Decals for Air Kiribati would be great, and would fit perfectly with my Airlines of the South Pacific theme.
Thanks for posting Scotty.

Thanks for the photos of the parts. Eastern Express has improved their airliner kits a great deal of late, I'm impressed and will be getting one of these. Air Kiribati decals would be great too.

TOR, would you mind giving some details of your South Pacific theme, I find myself drifting in that direction and have just about completed work on an Aircalin A.320.

Talking about Eastern Express, here are a couple of snaps of their Convair 880 that I recently completed. Nothing to complain about with this kit and I recommend it.

The -E2 has been released - and there is an Air Kiribati version amongst them.

FYI, these 2 Russian vendors are by far the cheapest for EE kits in general:

Pas Models - https://pas-decals.com/category_13/sbornaya-model-samoleta-embraer-190-e2-air-kiribati/

I-Modellist - https://i-modelist.ru/goods/model/aviacija/eastern-express/345/71526.html

(2970 Rubles is a little over AU $56)

Another for my "To-Do List" now that VARA has ordered 8 aircraft for October 2025 service entry to replace the ageing Fokker 100s... :?
