Been a while but here is an update on the CargoLux 747-8F build. Finally, after all sorts of minor bug-a-boos, the first coat of Boeing Grey lacquer has been applied. Hopefully a few more passes tomorrow to complete the wings and fuselage, I can then airbrush the lead edge and begin installation of the leading edge flaps. Thought I might complete this by mid month but it looks more like the end of March. The base took some creativity and it has been scaled out to 1/144; including the markings. Photos taken today on temporary mount. Still need to install wing main gear yet. Wires will travel into the base for to power the aircraft lighting circuits.
More at a later date

Pitch angle is a bit high and will be lowered to between 2 - 7 degrees. Again, the mounts are temporarily installed
