next project....Northrop F15 reporter firebomber 1/48

i have started another firebomber project it's a monogram P61 with a Lone Star F15 reporter conversion with an added Lone Star F15 borate tank.

the conversion is pretty good with a fair amount cast in detail.

the mongram parts fit the Lone Star pod pretty well.

and back into it......i recently sent another upgrade for the Reporter....so it now has correct cowls and i have added a pair of Quickboost engines.

the upgrades includes and replacements for the front of both booms as well as the cowls

it came with engines but they aren't correct for the firebomber version as it has the fairings ove the reduction gear that follows the spinners.

but i have a quickboost R2800 in my spares stash and tried it out....and it looked much better......so a pair of A26 engines was ordered.
