I think those guys would have used Jumbo Jet on the BBC Micro
Pretending to do it TAC style with the big boys since 1987
Also, we don't need no steenkin' VLATs!

Ericg,
What IS that big prong- looking device that sits in front of your instrument panel? I see it is somewhat useful to mount your iPad on.

Well mate, it's something that is attached directly to the flight controls, that can be easily seen by both pilots and is something that when grabbed, immediately let's you know exactly where your at with the state of the aircraft!

Ah yes, it does indeed look like a inverted "yoke", a variation of the original Wright Brothers control concept I believe.

Gotta love an Airbus pilot... Ansett had em as well... :D
It's hard for me to get used to these changing times... I remember when the air was clean and the sex was dirty..

What? Light aircraft pilots actually look where they are going? I thought they just plow through any old airspace.

S'all good mate....if you look at the round thingies, you'll see she was bang on the numbers and flyin' herself, thanks to her being a far less twitchy aircraft than what I've grown accustomed to. Plus there was a second set of eyes in the cockpit :)
