Eastern Express - New Website

Postby scotty100368 » Tue Jul 28, 2020 5:33 pm

Hi folks!

Check out the English version: https://ee-models.ru/en/

There's 1 or 2 surprises there...

The Convair 880 and 747SP we already know about and are close to release, but the A300B4 (Pan Am) and A300-600 (Olympic) are news to me!

The HS Trident will have the correctly offset nosegear with detailed bay. (unlike the ol' Airfix)

Have a good look through as there are CAD renders and/or test shots on the respective pages.

Cheers!

Which bits are news to you - the subjects or the options or both?

The Yanks on another Site have been rabbiting on about Eastern Express doing A300 versions since about when I started the A300 conversion which as Graeme would say was centuries ago!

Looking back through the Yank forums and indeed the A300Bs were mentioned (but not the -600) a good 18 months ago! Must have put them out of my mind without seeing any progress on them since then.

None of us are getting any younger, so even my memory fails occasionally... :(

I am eagerly awaiting the 747SP myself! :D
