One afternoon and one morning at the Mach loop

Postby VH-WAL » Fri Jul 24, 2020 12:16 am

CAD East on the afternoon of the 1st day and Bullwich on the morning of the second day. Parking is a problem for either CAD East or West you have to be there by 7.00am and then you may seeing nothing all day. The afternoon was pleasant, but the morning at Bullwich was cool due to a pesistent wind, when it wasnt blowing there were clouds of midges to make one miserable, I have hundreds of lumps and bumps and from experience I know i will itch for weeks!.
Alas no F-15s, but there was some trade. did a bit of experimenting with shutter speeds to get blur (speed and prop) with some success though I dont really go for ärtistic" I like my plane pics razor sharp.

Yeah she did grab some shut eye! She likes seeing the jets and getting out in the mountains though

Glorious stuff! A virtual feast here in lockdown! Hardly anything flying around Melbourne - did see a Dak flying yesterday which was weird, must have been a maintenance flight.
