Corrected engine pylons for Red Roo DC-9

Hi peeps..
For anyone who has the Red Roo DC-9 in either Ansett or TAA colours (or, indeed, the kit this is derived from..), I've been mucking about with a corrected engine pylon. The Red Roo instructions call for a 2mm shim to be placed on the pylon....this one takes that into account. It will be printed in resin, and I'm working on the best way to mount it. There are 2 indentations on the kit pylons which are for mounting the engines on. Most likely, you will need to drill these all the way through the fuselage, remove the existing pylon entirely, then mount the corrected one.

I believe it is the Fly Models kit that Red Roo released. I have the TAA boxing

Here's the first test print. Note that the rear of the pylon is slightly misshapen, unfortunately (I think my son knocked it with his finger when removing it from the printer..). Also, the pylon is not quite in the correct location - that's just a matter of moving the locating pins.
But the main thing is.....it fits!! kinda..

Looks good, I will probably still just extend the pylon outwards though, it seems that Fly used the Airfix kit, which has the pylon split between the engine and the fuselage giving a pain in the butt join down the middle, so could also be good for fixing the Airfix kit with that problem.

When you get around to it, there is more of a need to fix the nose on all of them.
The Airfix kit is just incorrectly rounded off
the Fly kit has the faceting continued on the top, but nothing really below the windscreen.
The Eastern Express kit has the best, but don't take it all the way down to the radome.
