i got the canopy cut and fitted plus the flaps on miss foxy lady.
the newer pair are coming together (i never thought i'd get the strega this far down track

the paint is gunze black primer that i then polished..in this pic you can see one half polished.

Something else has had the flaps fitted and radiator outlet door fitted as has Strega

and they are in the first coats of paint something else is in Tamiya whit primer that will be polished and Strega in in basic grey primer for now.

Big Kudos to you getting that far with a Contrails kit, I believe they are more difficult than Mach 2

i never thought i'd get the Strega to the finished stage let alone look as nice as this does..i replaced the prop and spinner with spare Airfix parts the canopy is clear resin though it's not very clear but overall it looks great on the shelf next to my 3 other mustang racers and my "super Corsair" racer...i could mount a mini reno....

overall they were great to build and i even enjoyed the Contrail kit in the end...i have few more reno racers in my stash so more coming down track.
