Announced early last month on the British forums:
https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235070288-172-boeing-b737-family-resin-kits-by-aeromodl-3d-rendersmaster-release-in-2020/Just some personal observations of mine:
1. It may be well detailed, but the kit is mostly solid resin, so it will be both heavy - and therefore - expensive.
2. Heavy parcels from Europe are expensive to post.
3. Large resin parts can suffer from different rates of shrinkage and thus the major casting pieces may not fit as accurately as the master
(but it does depend on the actual recipe of the resin used).
4. A 1/72 737-200 has already been kitted in plastic by both Welsh & BPK - and they are expensive enough as it is! Seems like a third effort is over-dilution of a niche market.
In the future, it may eventuate that another
less-kitted aircraft type with more sales potential would have made a better choice as their first release... like a 1/72 F28, F50 or Dash 8... just sayin'...
