Some progress, the seats and inst panel are in as well as the cabin glazing. Colours I chose are not the best but I don't think much will be seen when it is buttoned up.

I am on this one, not sure why I stopped. I think I was waiting for some future to dry and got side tracked.

The fuselage is together and flying surfaces attached with the first round of sanding done. With regard to you last comment Graeme I think the cabin work was a waste of time since nothing can bee seen, oh well I know it is there.

I am having trouble with Flickr at the moment so pictures will follow soon I hope. I will pop some pictures over on the FB page for now.

Major assembly and round one of sanding



The vacform clear part was cut out following the scribed edge lines and a test fit, hmm a tad oversized for the kit cut out


So it was cut down to fit, that's better. This is the best vacform windscreen/canopy piece I have used to date. The plastic used is much thicker that others and was easy to remove the excess and trim to size.


Dipped in future and drying before gluing into place


Next the white metal gear parts were cleaned up and some filing down required to get the parts to fit in the wells. They aren't glued in at this stage as some for filling a sanding is required

Ray, I love those little birds. It's a pity that the mainstream producers have always forgotten of them, even if now something is happening in East Europe.
I admire your dedication and constancy to tackle with difficult builds and how they turn out at end.

I admire your tenacity and skill. I made one of these kits, their Beech 1900C, but just used black decals for the cabin windows. You are a brave modeller indeed.
