Thanks everyone!
TheChronicOne, the secret to schratchbuiding is to start small and upgrade your skils as you go. It gets easyer with practice.

I've finished the flaps asembly. This was hard to do and I needed several tries to do it. It's not 100% accurate, but I think it looks OK.
Ansett A330, I hope theese fotos help...

Somewhere along the way I got my measurements wrong, so I had to lenghten the actuators.
I'm really happy this is out of my way and I can continue with the build.

Thanks for looking in!
Cheers!

Start small.... aye! I'll do my best. I've done -some- things, but they've all been either on military builds (In fact, I did quite a bit to my F-15N Sea Eagle, although they were all "small" in size) or just minor things to my airliner builds. Eventually I'll gather up the muster to go for something more substantial. In fact, I'm STILL having no luck tracking down aftermarket engines for MY 200, so who knows... I could get my feet wet with that. (although I'd rather not  )

This work is looking very good!!!! I'm blown away!!!

I can't say it's progress, becouse it's more like one step forward and three steps back, but here it is. I already had it painted, only white top was left to do, when a seam line on bottom cracked. It's hard to repair shiny finish like alclad and I repainted it at least four times and I almost gave up on it. Today I painted it for the last time. Still not perfect but I have to move on. Of course I have to repaint everything now. I also managed to break some flaps, but that is an easy fix.

I never give up, but this came realy close. Anyway, enough of crying and back to modeling.

Thanks for looking in!
