well it continues to fight........damn you just cant trust 30 year old decals......they wont release from the backing sheet......so spares box Hinomaru's for starters.

so after some help from Ed Russell the US-1 now has a full set of decals.

after filling a 10 meter skip with stuff i got some work done on the US-1.......so it stated the day looking like this

Very nice.

I've got one of these somewhere that I bought on sale from Toyworld in Mackay in 1986. Must see if I can find it next time I am in Brisvegas.

so after 2 months....she's done..Shinmeiwa US-1 SAR STOL amphibian of the JMSDF......the kit is the very old Hasegawa kit as noted.......but she's done unless someone cane get me a glazing for the search light......mine was crushed

thanks to Ed Russell for doing the extra decals to complete it...it was a fight but it does look good..........NOW if someone has the search light cover in one piece it would be fully finished......god knows what i'm going to do with it after expo.......but i d like it.
