Had these arrive today :)

1/48 Spitfire PR.XI Conversion. It's for the Hasegawa kit but I'm hoping it'll fit the ICM kit as well

Some 1/48 early PR Spitfire decals

And something for the next challenge build

I also got a set of custom 727 decals from Ben at V1 Decals. These were for the last pax 727 flight in the world operated by Iran Aseman Airlines. Can't fault Ben's customer service or product. This is the jet :)

Scored one of these off Evil Bay for only AUD$40 including postage.

The (time-expired) decals still have their wax sheet covering (not stuck, checked), and the parts inside are still factory sealed from 1961!

Going to have to crack it open to size decals though (scheme below), hope this styrene Tutts Tomb isn't cursed!

Yes bought one of those a few years ago and back in the 80s bought a Novo (ex-Frog) 1:96 one to do a Tp85 :

so I guess the Heller one might become the Elint version :

Not an Aircraft and didn't fly in the Air but could certainly fly in the water if it wasn't hit in the Boilers and arguably one of the nicest looking warships ever built :

Was given a built one of these in the early 70s from one of my Sister's Boyfriends who was going to Vietnam but it was left in his car in our backyard and before I could get it out of the car it of course melted to a twisted mess so I never actually had one of these in my "fleet" as a kid.

I have always wondered why Airfix chose to depict her "as built" and not as she was in WWII and up to her demise with the "Atlantic Bow".

Also have the Gneisenau book that has the photos of her lengthened and modified to take the three twin 15 inch Turrets (like on the Bismarck and Tirpitz) after she was bombed following the "Channel Dash" and before she was abandoned which would make an interesting conversion so must keep a look out for another one.

Here's a couple of kits that just came in from that Dutch shop where the handling and postage costs as much as the kits. There's also an ancient resin kit of a Fokker C.X with instructions in what appears to be Dutch and Czech, but it's in an all white box and not very interesting to look at.
