I'd love to have some models on the ACAM table but they get damaged in transit from Perth.. my Herons have already lost their aerials and they have all suffered over the years with periodic dusting / cleaning. Maybe I could bring the lear..or my old Baron just to help make up the numbers

Hey Wally

Bring the Lear please! It looks smashing! It's practically the corporate colours of one of Ray's sponsors too!

Cheers

I might enter. I will see how I feel. If I do feel like supporting the show, I will be entering my 1/32 Heinkel 111 into the Airliners category.

I got to give it to ya Ace.....you build a dam fine model!!!
And I LOVE the idea of this kind of diverse, obscure, and interesting "Airliner" being entered into the Airliner Category. It ably demonstrates just how unusual and interesting the whole airliner discussion can be. An "airliner" is not always just a 737.

No need to apologise we're use to that by now Ray.

I like how the airliner category is worded to say 'Airliners and derivatives' so pretty much any German twin engine aircraft from the 1930's qualifies as they were built under that disguise. The Heinkel 111's bomb bay was initial designed as a 4 person smoking compartment!

Absolutely.....case-in-point, the beautiful and elegant FW200 Condor Airliner, which of course later went on to became the "scourge of the Atlantic" in another form.
Another more modern example of this phenomenon is the P-3 Orion, which essentially is just a variant of the Lockheed L-188 Electra

It's cool man. It probably wasn't that important anyways     I think I mentioned something about how nice Brad's Heinkel 111 is but I wouldn't want to inflate his ego anymore than it is already
