I used to lust after the S-26/31, but this aeroplane just does "IT" for me. Outside of winning the lottery, chances are extremely slim of owning or flying one, but it's nice to dream. Having the power of that 10 litre engine behind that big three bladed prop and having the phenomenal roll and pitch rates this bird has would just be mind blowing.
Whilst a cool warbird could be fun, the shear huge level of maintenance they require would be such a drag. They're so unforgiving in many respects to, which would be a little scary. For pure fun, to jump in and blast through the sky, it's something like a Extra 330 for me (I wish!).
This is my dream machine - what's everyone else's? This is Mark Jefferies Extra in he UK. Mark has been the UK's aerobatic champion a few times and has a business importing and rebuilding Yak's. He was once intercepted by Su-27's and forced to land at a Russian airbase in Lithuania when ferry flying a L-29 from Russia - opp's! Imagine seeing a couple of Suk's appear alongside your wingtips!

.. No mate I wish, the 737 has changed allot over the years. The Classic was a nice jet to fly. The NG is nice also, but can bite one in the bottom if not paying attention..I've always liked the C182.. Good workhorse. It's been 16 years since I last flew a Cessna.
